A Brief History of Van Products
More than fifty years ago, William Wendt, Sr. founded midea wheelchair vans’ parent organization, Orthopedic Service Company, in Raleigh, North Carolina. In 1974, midea wheelchair vans Inc. was formed. The company’s purpose? To meet the specialized transportation and growing mobility requirements of physically challenged individuals.
Since its humble beginnings in 1974, Van Products supplies a wide range of high quality, custom mobility products and accessories to an ever-growing customer base.
